Meet Amanda! Our New Admin Support for the Wellbeing Studio :)
As some of you will know by now we are setting up the remainder of the Wellbeing Studio session independently since the unfortunate closure of Worcester Arts Workshop in September, and on top of that Covid-19 means that we cannot run any face to face session for the moment. However! The good thing about this is that we get to start fresh and new with our online session for people to access and we are able to take positive steps to meet new people and learning from working in a whole new way. One of these connections is our new administrative helper Amanda! Amanda's hard work means that she will be following up on those who want to come to the groups (she will call you back after your form is submitted) as well as collating any feedback and dealing with general enquiries. My Art Therapy work means that I work on site or for different people most days of the week so I'm not always available to do these jobs and it means that they get the proper time and attention they deserve.
Here's a little bit more to her and her background she's written as an introduction to you all to say hi :)
"Hi, my name is Amanda and I am pleased to be working with Claire and taking over her administration for Creating Space and the Wellbeing Studio classes. She is far to busy with all the important stuff so I have taken over some of the boring bits and pieces!
I am a Virtual assistant (VA) and support local small business in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. It is fantastic to see that these vital services that Creating Space provide can still take place in these difficult times by using online platforms such as Zoom.
Just a little bit of info about me – I have been a Personal Assistant and Corporate manager for over 13 years now and set up my little Virtual Assistant business in 2017. I have two beautiful young girls in my life who keep me busy when I am not working, (especially at the moment with home schooling and no nursery!) and if I do get chance to grab a few minutes to myself then I like to run and keep fit. I am also actively involved in the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community and am fluent in British Sign Language!
I look forward to speaking to some of you very soon!"
We're really pleased to have Amanda on board to be able to support some of the great work we do in the community and we know you will all give her a warm welcome.
If you want any more information about the Wellbeing Studio and booking your place you can sign up now at our booking page for our first 5 week term starting at the 26th of January or call Amanda on 07759 221022 to answer any questions or queries you may have.
We will be posting some more activities for home creativity in lockdown really soon, in the meantime don't forget to look back at our previous posts and challenges as well as sending them to a friend if you think they'd enjoy some creative time.
Take care and stay safe,
